CONCIERIA, the property brand of CLEARTH LIFE in Tokyo

Late November 2019, our CLEARTH LIFE TAIWAN members went to Cambodia for their site visits.

The purpose of their visits were to view the brand new condominium apartments called “East View Residences”(hereinafter “EVR”) which CLEARTH LIFE is selling and to do a field study of Phnom Penh city.

Cambodia is located in Southeast Asia and also has been a member of ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) since 1999. Cambodia is rich in nature and the world heritage “Angkor Wat” is well-known. Angkor Archaeological Park is ranked #1 by trip lovers in TripAdvisor’s “Overseas Tourist Spot Ranking 2019 with Japanese”. Cambodia has been growing for the past several years, maintaining an economic growth rate of 7%.

Phnom Penh is the capital and it has a population of about 16.03 million. They visited the center of Phnom Penh this time where the EVR is located.

This Independence Monument was built in 1958 to celebrate independence from France.

Tuk-Tuk (three-wheeled taxi) is commonly used for local transportation. This zippy vehicle is perfect to feel the liveliness and enthusiasm of Southeast Asia. As an aside, Tuk-Tuk’s rate is around USD 7 between Phnom Penh International Airport and Phnom Penh city, and USD 1 to USD 3 within Phnom Penh city.

The white building in the center of the aerial photo is the Central Market, established in 1937. This market is clean and always crowded by many tourists where you can find from jewellery, gems and trinkets to homeware, food, souvenirs and handicrafts.

Next is “AEON MALL”, which is familiar to local people. The contents are almost the same as shopping malls in Japan and it looked very modern. The first “AEON MALL Phnom Penh” opened in June 2014, followed by the second “AEON MALL Sen Sok City” opened in May 2015 and the third AEON MALL will be opened in 2023.

I think that there are many people who remember the dark history when we hear Cambodia, however now it is a modern and easy-to-live environment that goes far beyond our imagination. Of course we can still see some local stalls for you to buy a snack.

Do you know what the local dish in Cambodia is? “Amok” is a Khmer dish which is steamed cooking a coconut milk-base curry with egg in banana leaves. Main ingredients can be chicken, beef, vegetables or especially with fish called “Amok trey” which is a typical Khmer dish.
In addition, “BROWN COFFEE” has 19 stores in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and is now a coffee chain that represents Cambodia.

And then, they arrived to EVR. This project was completed in January 2019 which a large-scale project with 40 floors above ground and a total number of units are 1,362. Just like our developments in Tokyo, it has become a luxurious structure with a focus on quality in every detail.
